The lantana lace bug, Teleonemia scrupulosa Stål. Adults are 1/8 inch long, brown and elongate. This species does not have the extended pronotum over the head. Life cycle (egg to adult) requires approximately 23 to 25 days.
Common host plants - Lantana is the only plant seriously damaged by this insect.
